Stronger Than Wind invites you and your daughter to 2 hands on, indulgent days of quality time between sea and desert, the blue and white of the Dead Sea, the yellow desert, the views, the open space, the freedom and the quiet.
Time spent in the desert, where everything suddenly looks simple, primeval and romantic... a dive back in time to the days of the Bible.
Activities and Experiences
Let's dive into the plan
A safety briefing and off we go! Off-road driving down the slopes of the Good Samaritan ridge to Nahal Og and its mighty canyon. A demanding drive up the streambed to the Cave, over challenging sections along the gorge, and a climb to Jabel Um Katef, one of the finest viewpoints in the northern Judean Desert: the Dead Sea, Jericho, Mount Azazel and the Hyrcania Valley. Bonding missions for mother and daughter, a visit to a Bedouin encampment of the Jahalin tribe, and arrival at the glamping site. In the evening: a Shabbat welcome circle, a workshop for the daughters and the Stronger Than Wind Feast for the mothers, with wine and music by firelight.
We wake slowly facing the view of the Dead Sea. After breakfast, a fascinating hike among mushrooms, cakes, diamonds, sinkholes and other magical secrets of the Dead Sea. We say goodbye to the desert with plenty of photos and memories, and head back to reality.
