Stronger Than Wind Around the World · Sunset over Ararat
A Land of Genesis
Nobility found me
Picture yourself driving through wild country, laughing, strong, free. Between dramatic mountains and ancient monasteries, between clear lakes and trails that never end, Armenia opens a gateway to a different kind of journey. Deep. Wild. Feminine.
Once, many thousands of years ago, when the great flood ended, Noah's ark came to rest on Mount Ararat...
Armenia is the perfect destination for an adventurous jeep tour brimming with attractions: a land of ridges and plateaus, basalt peaks, green and desert, rivers and lakes, thousands of years of history, refined cuisine and breathtaking primeval landscapes.
Activities and Experiences
Let's dive into the plan
We land late at night in Tbilisi, Georgia, into a new kind of adventure, the kind that does not wait to happen but starts itself. A short drive to a hotel with a stunning view over the old city, and a good night's rest before the journey begins.
We open the morning with a Georgian breakfast of flavors and cross the border into Armenia. The jeeps are waiting. We dive deep into history at Akhtala Monastery, with frescoes more than a thousand years old, and from there a wild off-road track drops us into a green canyon with a soft river and a lake like a mirror. Overnight in a special hotel full of local charm.
A calm morning with coffee facing a flowing river. A nature reserve in full bloom, butterflies and horses roaming free. Lunch with a local family, where we bake traditional cookies together, dance to folk songs and hear the stories of women who live their wisdom. In the afternoon: crossing a fast flowing river to the Trchkan Waterfalls, the waterfalls of eternity. In the evening, Gyumri, a city of resilience and renewal.
A walk through the stone lanes of Gyumri, art shops and houses rebuilt after the earthquake, much like our own hearts. We continue in the jeeps through wild landscapes along the Aparan range and stop at the Armenian Alphabet Park for an activity with a wink. In the evening, a pampering hotel, a sky wide view and a quiet heart.
We open with a slow morning by the pool facing legendary Mount Ararat. We head to Garni Canyon, where hexagonal basalt columns create the Symphony of Stones, and climb to a Hellenistic temple dedicated to the sun goddess. A bread baking workshop with local women: hands in the dough, heart touching heart. In the evening, pink Yerevan, joyful and alive. A real party is waiting for us.
A colorful visit to the artists' bazaar and an indulgent picnic on the shore of Lake Sevan, pure beauty between sky and earth. From there, wild off-road driving along the Dimats range, a reserve that is a living painting: horses, butterflies, blossom. In the evening, a magical hotel, a jacuzzi, a heated pool, good wine and deep conversation under the stars.
A morning of adrenaline, a zipline 300 meters high at 80 km/h. Then calm, rest, time for yourself, pool, sun and long breaths. In the evening, a pool party you will never forget.
We open the morning in the Garden of Eden reserve with gentle off-road driving and a walk along the banks of a hidden river. A last lunch, tired, happy, full. We cross back into Georgia and fly home with a brand new memory in our hearts.
