"Stronger Than Wind" was not born from an idea to take women traveling.

It was born from the belief that you can break, pause, lose your way...
and then choose to rise again.

Some bonds are only woven on the road. Tours built especially for the two of you, in Israeli desert time, in Armenia, in Greece, and in Montenegro. Because when a mother and daughter travel together, the heart grows.

What you wanted to ask

Questions and Answers

First of all, thank you so much for considering joining a Stronger Than Wind journey. I am sure you have questions, hesitations and second thoughts before deciding to set out on an organized trip for women.

So I have gathered answers to the questions women who want to join usually ask me,

and if you still cannot find the answer to another question here, pick up the phone. I am always available.

Do I have to take part in the active experiences?

You do not have to do anything! But since you are already here, give it a try. At worst you will conquer the fear.

The activities are easy to moderate, and if you would rather not, you can always enjoy a coffee facing a beautiful view and cheer on the other women in the group.

Do I drive the jeep myself? Which jeeps do we drive?

Yes, you drive. And you do not need any previous jeep driving experience.

Our professional team briefs you on off road driving whenever we drive, and always keeps an eye on your driving and on the other women throughout the trip.

And if you prefer not to drive, that is perfectly fine too.

Our jeeps are comfortable, air conditioned, built for off road driving and mostly automatic.

The jeep model differs by destination, for example: Toyota Prado, Land Cruiser, Jeep Grand Cherokee, Nissan Patrol, Suzuki Vitara, Toyota RAV4 and similar.

How big is the group?

Small, intimate groups. Minimum 12, maximum 20 women.

What is the age range of the women on the trip?

From age 30 and up. Most are around 50, give or take.

Should I come with a friend or on my own?

That is just it, you really do not have to. Most women come on their own and always connect with the others in the group.

How do we get to know the other women in the group?

Once registration closes, we open a WhatsApp group where the first details are shared and a group dynamic already begins to form. It leads up to an experiential group meetup before the trip, where we hold introductions and group activities with the participants, the trip guide and with Gilat, the owner and founder of the company.

Who guides us?

We have a professional, experienced team made up of an Israeli guide and a local off road guide who lead the group in a separate jeep carrying all the safety and first aid equipment.

How safe is the trip?

The routes and attractions were checked in advance and carefully planned over the 12 years the company has been operating, and every route is safe to drive.

Every adventure activity is run by a professional, trained team that instructs the activity and gives safety guidelines.

Where do we sleep?

We stay only in excellent tourist class hotels with a comfortable bed and a hot shower. Some of our hotels include a spa.

What do we eat?

We are on full board and eat at the hotels, at restaurants and sometimes at generous picnic spreads or hosted in a local family home.

Food can be adapted for women who keep kosher and tradition (though without rabbinical certification).

Meals include meat, fish, chicken, carbohydrates, vegetables and fruit, and there are vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options.

What about women who keep tradition?

You are welcome too. Food and a stop for Shabbat can be arranged.

What is best left at home?

Politics, bitterness, and labeling people by color, religion, gender or background.

I am here for you.

Thank you, Gilat.

And there is a journey for everyone

Stronger Than Wind is the home for women. And alongside it, under the same roof, Jeep & Travel sets out with families, couples, solo travelers and groups.

To rise anew. No matter which way the wind blows

I'm Gilat.

I don't believe life is measured by how many times we fell. I believe it's measured by how many times we chose to get back up, a little different, a little wiser, and a little closer to ourselves.

From that belief, Stronger Than Wind was born. Not as a travel company, but as a home for women.

"Smiling at Hardship"

A concept tour honoring the memory of Sergeant Roei Peri, of blessed memory, a Golani fighter, a hero of the October 7th war. Roei chose to face challenges with a smile and courage, and we carry on his path, step by step, out in the field.
