Activities and Experiences
Let's dive into the plan
A safety briefing and off-road driving rules, and off we go! Off-road driving down the slopes of the Good Samaritan ridge, east to Nahal Og and its mighty canyon. A demanding drive up a beautiful streambed to the Cave (an ancient storeroom), over challenging sections along the gorge, past fortifications spanning the Crusader period through to the Six Day War. A climb to Jabel Um Katef and a breathtaking view over the northern Dead Sea, Jericho, Mount Azazel and the Hyrcania Valley. A visit to a Bedouin encampment of the Jahalin tribe, lunch by the desert chef, and then the hike among the secrets of the Dead Sea. At sunset, with a glass of ouzo, we say goodbye to this fascinating desert and head back to reality.
